Now that winter has arrived, I would like to offer some snow removal tips for all of our residents.

Reminder:  Please check the ice thickness on Lily Lake before allowing children to play or ice-skate on the lake.  All children should be supervised at all times when out on the lake.  Please use caution at all times.

Winter Safety:

It is that time again when our children are going to and from school during dusk and late afternoon hours.  Please have your children wear light colored outer garments when going to school, and as you are driving during theses winter months please drive very safely.  Don’t forget all children under the age of 6 must be secured in some type of restraints while in a vehicle.

Residential Burglar Alarms:

Lakemoor Police Department is requesting assistance from any homeowner who have residential burglar alarms.  Please notify us of the alarm company name, address and telephone number, your daytime telephone number,  name, address and telephone numbers of any keyholders when you are not home or gone for a period of time.  (This will assist us when you have a house watch set up for vacations, etc.)

Please stop by the Police Department with the information or mail the information to the attention of Chief Bracke or Sergeant Iverson.
