DEVELOPMENTAL SKILLS

The mission of any Explorer Post under The Boy Scouts of America is to enrich youth that are interested in a particular career field. The Police Explorers provide insight into modern law enforcement, and the opportunity to train along side real Lakemoor Police Officers on a weekly basis; as well as volunteer at community events.

Lakemoor Police Explorers will learn basic police training in situations such as; Traffic Stops, Crime Scene Processing, Emergency Field First Aid, Domestic Conflict Resolution, Self Defense and Traffic Crash Reconstruction.

The Lakemoor Police Explorer Post welcomes youth with ambitions outside of a Law Enforcement career, as we believe the basic knowledge of Law Enforcement will benefit anyone, regardless of career path.
